Widnes Vikings are delighted to announce that Max Roberts has signed a new one-year deal that will keep him with the club until the end of 2026.
Roberts, 24, signed for the Vikings ahead of 2023 and has gone on to make 65 appearances, scoring 15 tries.
He has appeared in 20 of our 26 fixtures this season and has started our last 11 games.
On his new deal, Roberts said: “I’m really happy to be here for another year, obviously I’ve already been with the club for three years and I’ve really enjoyed my time here.
“I know all the lads, and we’ve had a really good core group that makes it a really enjoyable place to be a part of.
“The fans have made a huge difference as well; there’s no one who turns up like the Widnes fans do.”
Head Coach Allan Coleman said: “I’m over the moon to keep Max. He’s Mr Consistent in our team.
“He’ll play any position for you and won’t let you down.
“He loves the club and all the people here, so it’s fantastic to get it done, and I think his best years are still ahead of him.
