There was a big discovery linked to Dylan Penders on Emmerdale on Wednesday night, as well as other twists linked to the teen. But fans are now convinced there could be another huge plot on the way, with a potential secret link to a missing character.
Fans think after a recent scene that Dylan is linked to a village resident who is currently offscreen, amid confirmation they are about to take centre stage in a secret, big storyline. On Wednesday we saw Dylan open up to Paddy Kirk about his past, with hints he had faced abuse during his time on the streets.
As Paddy told him he could tell him everything, Dylan considered revealing all bout his dodgy deals with villain Ray with him dropping drugs off for the dealer. Instead he met in secret with Ray, and told him he wanted a break from the criminal activity.
Ray then manipulated Dylan, trying to make him believe that Paddy and Mandy won’t care for “someone like him” forever. As Dylan said it was all getting a bit intense, he told Ray he needed a break and didn’t want to do jobs for him.

Ray claimed this was fine and they were “still mates”, but it was clear he wasn’t happy about it and had a plan in mind. Dylan ended up helping Marlon Dingle at the pub, only to be spotted by youngster Kyle.
Kyle realised that Dylan was one of the intruders who scared him at the farm a few weeks back, with him stabbing Dylan in the leg with a pitchfork. Kyle began to panic, as Dylan tried to calk him down to stop him from exposing what he did.
As Kyle headed home with stepmother Moira Dingle, it was clear he was hiding something leading to Moira encouraging him to open up. It’s then that Kyle spilled all about Dylan, leaving a furious Moira wanting payback.
Spoilers have revealed she lures Dylan up to the farm in a revenge plot, but how far will she go? Amid all this, fans think a recent scene has given away a secret link between Dylan and another character.

Viewers noticed a recent scene at Paddy’s home, that saw Dylan picking up and staring at a photo of Paddy’s dad Bear. Bear has been offscreen for weeks, acting out of character before lying to Paddy and fleeing.
From outbursts to worrying scenes, it’s clear something is wrong with Bear – and the truth finally comes out in upcoming scenes. But the moment with Dylan focusing on the photo has left fans convinced he is somehow linked to Bear.
Theories suggested Bear’s mystery storyline will be linked to the teen as others wondered if they’d met on the streets during Bear’s absence. Whether there is a link is yet to be confirmed.
