Director Tommy Wirkola is back to direct sequel Violent Night 2, and Deadline<\/a> reports today that Daniela Melchior and Kristen Bell have signed on to star in the upcoming movie.<\/p>\n

87North and Universal will release\u00a0Violent Night 2\u00a0in theaters\u00a0December 4, 2026.<\/p>\n

David Harbour will be back as the badass action hero, Santa Claus. Pat Casey\u00a0and\u00a0Josh Miller\u00a0will also be back to write\u00a0Violent Night 2, which promises more bloody mayhem.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s stuff we left on the floor like the North Pole, Mrs. Claus, the elves,\u201c Tommy Wirkola noted last year. \u201cBut story-wise, I think we have a really, really cool idea that expands on the world and scope but still keeping that tone that we love from the first one.\u201d<\/p>\n
