After three movies in less than two years, Osgood Perkins shows no signs of showing down.<\/p>\n

Neon has announced a new \u201cbad trip\u201d from the\u00a0prolific writer-director titled The Young People, with production set to begin this fall in Vancouver.<\/p>\n

Lola Tung (The Summer I Turned Pretty) and Nico Parker (\u201cThe Last of Us\u201d) will star.<\/p>\n

Plot details are being kept under wraps, per usual, but the script image<\/a> below includes a mention of The Old Ones. Could Perkins be going Lovecraftian?<\/p>\n

Neon, which has a first-look deal with Perkins, will co-finance the film with Lyrical Media for a theatrical release. Perkins is producing with his partner Chris Ferguson for Phobos and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones for Range.<\/p>\n

Perkin\u2019s Longlegs was the highest-grossing independent film of last year. He followed it up with the Stephen King adaptation The Monkey earlier this year.<\/p>\n

His next film, Keeper<\/a>, is due out on November 14. Written by Nick Lepard\u00a0(Dangerous Animals), it stars\u00a0Tatiana Maslany (\u201cOrphan Black\u201d) and\u00a0Rossif Sutherland\u00a0(Possessor).<\/p>\n

Keeper\u00a0follows a couple as they escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a secluded cabin. When Malcolm (Sutherland) suddenly returns to the city, Liz (Maslany) finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil that unveils the cabin\u2019s horrifying secrets.<\/p>\n
