\n Elton Park Care Home was visited in July by inspectors from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which found the provider to be ‘good’ in all areas.\n<\/p>\n
\n Since its last inspection in April 2023, there has been a change in management with inspectors finding that “improvements had been made and were ongoing”.\n<\/p>\n
\n Inspectors said: “The provider had a good learning culture and people could raise concerns.\n<\/p>\n

\n “Managers investigated incidents and there were enough staff with the right skills, qualifications and experience, and the management team kept this under review.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Owner of Elton Park Care Home, Kamal Patel, said: “It’s a weight off our shoulders.\n<\/p>\n
\n “The home has been running successfully for the last year with almost 95% occupancy, even without CQC rating but having this is the icing on the cake and reinforces to the public that we are doing the right things and have a safe and caring environment.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It’s a testament to the team and the hard work they have done. We have a great manager and deputy, Amanda and Jo, and they’re supported by some really great staff.”\n<\/p>\n

\n Inspectors also found that people were “treated with kindness and compassion” and residents had choice in their care and staff protected their privacy and dignity.\n<\/p>\n
\n People who use the service also praised the home, with CQC noting that people told them they were happy living in the service and they felt safe.\n<\/p>\n
\n Mr Patel added: “It’s great the recognition from CQC, there’s still work to be done, but we’re confident we will keep improving and continue to be a great home.”\n<\/p>\n
