Charity event organised by NHS Dorset"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The event, \u201cAbseil for the BEACH!\u201d, will see fundraisers descend the tower of St Peter\u2019s Church on Saturday, September 6, 2025, with all proceeds going towards projects at Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch hospitals.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  UHD NHS charity fundraising target is\u00a0\u00a3200 and the registration fees is \u00a340.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Abseiling slots will run from 10 am until 3.30 pm, with participants asked to arrive 20 minutes before their allocated time.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Organisers say the event offers people the chance to \u201ctake the leap\u201d while raising money to improve patient care across University Hospitals Dorset.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A spokesperson for UHD Charity said: \u201cNot all heroes wear capes \u2013 some wear an NHS uniform during the workday and switch to daredevil mode out of work to dangle off St Peter\u2019s Church in Bournemouth!\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;This is your chance to channel your inner superhero and abseil for a cause that truly matters, transforming care for the incredible teams in the BEACH Building at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cEvery pound you raise and exciting moment on this journey supports the real-life legends in the Maternity, Child Health, Emergency and Critical Care units in the BEACH.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cIt\u2019s bold.
