Terence Crawford<\/a> and Canelo Alvarez<\/a> have been deep in preparations for their showdown in a matter of weeks.<\/p>\n

Crawford will move up two weight divisions to 168lbs to face undisputed super-middleweight champion Canelo at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on September 13.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2018Bud\u2019 is aiming to become the first ever male fighter to become undisputed in three different divisions, having already achieved it at both super-lightweight and welterweight.<\/p>\n

It will be a difficult task against Canelo though, who is yet to ever taste defeat at super-middleweight since moving to that division seven years ago.<\/p>\n

Both fighters have sparred many rounds in the build-up, with Canelo surprising many earlier this month when it was revealed that former unified welterweight champion Jaron Ennis<\/a> had been brought in as a sparring partner during camp.<\/p>\n

Ennis was WBA and IBF welterweight champion before recently vacating those titles to head up to 154lbs, having spent a number of years trying to secure a bout with \u2018Bud\u2019 himself.<\/p>\n

Crawford\u2019s trainer Brian \u2018BoMac\u2019 McIntyre has now spoken for the first time on what he made of Canelo choosing to spar with Ennis, but certainly didn\u2019t seem impressed, as he told Ring Magazine<\/a> that \u2018Boots\u2019 isn\u2019t anywhere near the level of Crawford.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat don\u2019t mean sh*t. That don\u2019t mean nothing. Boots ain\u2019t no Crawford. That isn\u2019t going to help him. He should have just got the last cab driver he just fought. That don\u2019t mean nothing. He ain\u2019t no \u2018Bud\u2019 Crawford. They don\u2019t have that mentality.\u201d<\/p>\n
