\u201cCrawford\u2019s win over Madrimov was impressive, but Usyk\u2019s victories over Fury and Dubois in the heavyweight division, where the stakes are higher,\u201d said writer Mike Coppinger while he was still with ESPN.<\/p>\n
Having seen how Crawford struggled against Madrimov, getting out-punched, my personal choice for #1 pound-for-pound is Usyk. The way he defeated the much bigger Daniel Dubois, Tyson Fury, and Anthony Joshua twice in the last two years puts him ahead of Terence.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the last time I saw Crawford, he moved up yet another division, beat at the time the guy [WBA junior middleweight champion Israil Madrimov]. I thought he was the best fighter in the division at the time. And before that, he had just annihilated Errol Spence. So, if you look at all the boxes, I\u2019m going to check Crawford for most of them, if not all of them,\u201d said Kellerman.<\/p>\n
