It’s crucial for work tasks during business hours, streaming Netflix during evening hours, and even required for turning off lights (if you’re an Alexa user).<\/p>\n However, despite living in our technology-driven era, there are moments when the WiFi fails to sustain a steady connection<\/a>, reports the Mirror<\/a>. But it can significantly hinder Wi-Fi performance<\/a>.”<\/p>\n “Additionally, routers placed near metal objects or electrical wiring may experience signal reflection and attenuation, further worsening performance.”<\/p>\n Devices like your microwave or TV emit electromagnetic interference (EMI), which can ‘disrupt Wi-Fi signals and degrade their quality’.<\/p>\n If your router is located in a corner, you might want to reconsider its placement. WiFi routers<\/a> work best when they’re centralized and elevated, radiating signals in all directions without interference.<\/p>\n
