Ty Mitchell has fought just twice in 14 years after his promising future was put on hold after he was locked up for seven years.<\/p>\n

Ty Mitchell was a highly touted boxing talent in his youth, but his attitude held him back as a pro, and he accrued an unimpressive 4-2 record in his first 19 months as a professional.<\/p>\n

After a KO loss in his last fight, Mitchell went out drinking often, and got into a fight. The man Mitchell knocked out passed away in the hospital, and the once promising talent was convicted of manslaughter, spending seven years behind bars.<\/p>\n

May this year saw Mitchell embark on his first fight in 14 years, as he stopped Misfits regular Idris Virgo.<\/p>\n

On Misfits 22, Mitchell\u2019s ceiling only got higher, as \u2018The Derby Banger\u2019 defeated world-ranked Sean Hemphill by split decision.<\/p>\n

After the win, Mitchell had just one name on his mind.<\/p>\n

Now 5-2, Mitchell\u2019s win over Hemphill is extremely impressive given his 14-year inactivity.<\/p>\n

The Derby man was once a frequent sparring partner of the Furys, and remains close to Tyson Fury<\/a> as a friend.<\/p>\n

His opponent, Canelo\u2019s sparring partner Hemphill<\/a>, was coming off a win over 20-0 world-class Mark Jeffers, so the sky is the limit now for the resurgent Mitchell.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Pro Boxing Fans, Mitchell was asked who he would like to face next, to which he replied,<\/p>\n

\u201cDiego Pacheco, that\u2019s who I want. So, Eddie, let\u2019s make it happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Diego Pacheco is a 24-0 24-year-old fighter with 18 knockout wins. His last fight saw him defeat Trevor McCumby, who dropped Caleb Plant<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pacheco has been touted as one of the fighters, alongside Christian Mbilli, Hamzah Sheeraz<\/a>, and Chris Eubank Jr.<\/a>, in line to face Canelo Alvarez<\/a>, should he beat Terence Crawford<\/a>, and a fight between Pacheco and Mitchell could happen in the meantime.<\/p>\n

It is unlikely though, as a 24-0 fighter should really have no business facing a 5-2 fighter with a 14-year gap in their record.<\/p>\n

Dillon Danis had a very bizarre call out after his Misfits win<\/p>\n

While Mitchell\u2019s callout of Pacheco may seem ambitious, it is a testament to Misfits bringing in more genuine boxing talent rather than just influencers, such as \u2018the next Floyd Mayweather\u2019 J\u2019Hon Ingram<\/a>, who opened the bill with a KO win.<\/p>\n

Though this is the case for some fighters, others remain heavily involved with the more gimmicky side of the promotion, with MMA fighter Dillon Danis calling out Eddie Hall<\/a>, a 400-pound strongman, after his 15-second win over Warren Spencer.<\/p>\n

Danis and Hall faced off in the ring after the world\u2019s strongest man confronted the MMA fighter, who asked Hall if he would come down to under 400 pounds to fight him.<\/p>\n
