Lancashire Teaching Hospital\u2019s<\/a> Sepsis Lead Nurse Sonia Connell has talked about the life-threatening medical emergency of Sepsis ahead of this month\u2019s campaign of awareness.<\/p>\n

Sonia, who marks 30 years with the trust this year, has shared her passion for raising awareness of the condition and the connection she has with it.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cAs Sepsis Lead Nurse, I am extremely passionate about raising the awareness of sepsis, and in providing support to sepsis survivors.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd last year we tragically lost our mum, Joan, to sepsis.
