Travis Kelce<\/a> has finally spoken out for the first time about his earth-shattering proposal to pop superstar Taylor Swift<\/a>\u00a0after their announcement last week.<\/p>\n

The NFL icon broke the internet when he got down on one knee in the garden of his Missouri<\/a> mansion, making the singer his fiancee two years into their whirlwind romance.<\/p>\n

While Taylor’s initial post gave a glimpse into how happy the pair are to be closing in on marriage, Travis was yet to address the change in their relationship status – until now, that is.<\/p>\n

In a teaser clip for Wednesday’s episode of New Heights, the Kansas<\/a> City Chiefs tight end spoke out about his proposal, and made a huge claim that delighted Swifties around the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something, and all the posts, all the excitement that’s been going on,’ Kelce told his brother Jason.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Therefore, fans had to wait an extra week to get Travis’ thoughts, with the NFL superstar tight-lipped and fully focused on the start of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n

The sly tactic ensure that the 14-time Grammy Award winner was left surprised by the proposal, left without an inkling as she lovingly lifted the lid on their two-year romance on New Heights.<\/p>\n

Yet, the three-time Super Bowl winner also chose the moment with his fiancee in mind. He reportedly chose that day as he knew Swift would be glammed up with her hair and makeup done to ensure she looked like a blushing bride-to-be in the photos.\u00a0<\/p>\n
