Ooni has, and so its new Volt 2 comes loaded with \u201cPizza Intelligence,\u201d an adaptive heating system designed to deliver a more even and consistent cooking temperature.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">The Volt 2 is an indoor oven, able to cook pizzas up to 13 inches in diameter, but it\u2019s still small enough to fit on a countertop \u2014 though we\u2019ve found other indoor pizza ovens <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/smart-home-review\/681701\/current-model-p-smart-pizza-oven-review\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">too smoky to really use inside<\/a>. Pizza Intelligence is new to the Volt 2 and uses sensor data to adjust the top and bottom heating elements, \u201cminimizing temperature fluctuations and cold spots.\u201d It\u2019s a little less exciting than the name suggests.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">The Volt 2 has a max temperature of 450 Celsisus (842F), right in the recommended range for cooking traditional Neapolitan pizza, which Ooni says should take about 90 seconds. That\u2019s one of the three presets, with New York and deep-pan pizza, too, and the oven \u201cadjusts temperature and crisping intensity\u201d to suit each style. You can also add programmable custom presets if you prefer a different type of pie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">The Volt 2 will be available from October 1st for \u00a3499 (about $670).
