Alpine F1 Team has confirmed that Paul Aron will be at the wheel of the A525 for the opening Practice session of this weekend\u2019s Italian Grand Prix.<\/p>\n
The Estonian driver will take over driving duties from Franco Colapinto, and it will mark his first outing for the French outfit on a Grand Prix weekend.<\/p>\n
Aron has already taken part in two Practice sessions this season with Kick Sauber, the first coming at Silverstone and the second in Budapest prior to the summer break.<\/p>\n
Speaking about his opportunity with Alpine, Aron said that he was looking forward to his third outing in 2025.<\/p>\n
\u201cI’m looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the A525 for my first Grand Prix weekend appearance with the team in Monza. I’ve got to know everyone really well since I joined at the end of last year as Test and Reserve Driver and appreciate the trust the team has given me to drive in Friday’s Free Practice 1. <\/p>\n
\u201cI’m aiming to do as good a job as possible to help set up the car for the whole weekend and be in the best position to have a competitive race weekend from the outset. Personally, it will be great to build on the experience I’ve gained from the simulator and testing opportunities.
