Hollyoaks will introduce a new secret romantic interest for Peri Lomax following the recent love triangle storyline.<\/p>\n

Recently, both Peri and her mum Leela admitted that they were into Prince McQueen and wanted to pursue things with him.<\/p>\n

She caught Prince with Leela after they had just slept together, and while she was furious at first, she then calmed down a bit after Prince and Leela both admitted that they actually have feelings for each other and want to have more than just fun.<\/p>\n

In scenes set to air next week, Leela goes on a date with Prince, but tries to hide when she sees Peri passing by.<\/p>\n

Peri sees and assures her mum that she really is fine with the situation. Leela later hears Peri excitedly talking on the phone, and assumes that she’s seeing someone now too.<\/p>\n

However, Peri later has an emotional call with someone on her laptop. Leela and Prince later walk into Casa McQueen and see her upset.<\/p>\n

Leela assumes that Peri’s been stood up, but is she correct?<\/p>\n

“Leela’s priority is always Peri, so she naturally feels guilty about pursuing a relationship with Prince given all the recent drama,” our insider says. “But if Peri’s already found herself another love interest, no harm done \u2013 right?<\/p>\n

“But things take a worrying turn, and Peri ends up in tears again. Is Leela right about her daughter’s new romance, or is something else wrong?”<\/p>\n

Peri and Prince previously had a thing way back in the day. More recently, she was with Juliet Nightingale before her tragic death, then she was seeing Juliet’s brother Romeo before he went on the run, and then she got involved with evil Abe Fielding before he was murdered.<\/p>\n

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming<\/a> premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.<\/p>\n
