Fitness model and personal trainer Nicholas Joel Leong wanted to film his workout but ended up accidentally capturing a heated exchange at the gym involving his friend.<\/p>\n
In an Instagram post, Nicholas said he was filming his workout at Pure Fitness Singapore when his camera caught the audio of a heated exchange.\u00a0It is unclear which Pure Fitness outlet the incident happened at.<\/p>\n
A gym goer, reportedly wearing an Apex Fitness trainer T-shirt, had accused Nicholas\u2019s friend (dubbed Friend A) of staring at him.<\/p>\n
Nicholas said he didn\u2019t notice anything until Friend A filled him in as he had earphones on.<\/p>\n
The gym goer was overheard confronting Friend A, asking: \u201cHey bro, you got any problem or not?\u201d<\/p>\n
A confused Friend A was heard replying, \u201cWhat?\u201d<\/p>\n
The gym goer then claimed that he had caught Friend A staring at him for a few months. Friend A denied this.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou got problem, must say you know,\u201d the gym goer pressed.<\/p>\n
Even after Friend A insisted that he had nothing against him, the gym goer said, \u201cDon\u2019t keep staring at me. Understand?\u201d<\/p>\n
When Friend A again denied staring, the gym goer ended with, \u201cNo problem, don\u2019t need to stare, understand or not?\u201d<\/p>\n
Nicholas didn\u2019t mince his words when he weighed in on Instagram.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe gym is ABSOLUTELY NOT the place for gangsterism. Especially in this day and age. It is a place where people come and grow, and to positively influence each other. Even more so all of us are personal trainers who are tasked to guide people down the right path,\u201d Nichoals wrote.<\/p>\n
Especially not at Pure Fitness, where it is an international space. PLEASE DO BETTER,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
According to Nicholas’ replies in the comments, his friend did not alert the gym staff on the matter as “he’s such a shy and quiet guy”.\u00a0<\/p>\n
8days.sg has since reached out to Nicholas for more details on the incident.<\/p>\n
Nicholas later updated his IG post that both Pure Fitness and Apex Fitness have reached out to him, where he has shared the relevant information.<\/p>\n
