\n\tRyan Reynolds<\/a> is playing coy about a possible cameo on Marvel<\/a>\u2018s\u00a0Avengers: Doomsday<\/a>\u00a0after throwing comic book fans into a frenzy, hinting at Deadpool<\/a>\u2018s appearance.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actor is at TIFF<\/a> to promote the John Candy documentary he produced with Colin Hanks as director. During an interview, Reynolds talked about the John Candy Easter eggs he put in all three\u00a0Deadpool\u00a0films.<\/p>\n

\n\tEntertainment Weekly<\/a> took the opportunity to ask if there were any Easter eggs in Avengers: Doomsday and if that would confirm his involvement in the Russo Brothers-directed film.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere\u2019s four that I\u2019ve got in there,\u201d Reynolds joked. \u201cOf course, I\u2019ve written them all at home in my PJs, and nobody\u2019s seen \u2019em, nor have I stepped foot on set. But, yeah, that\u2019s about as far as I\u2019ll go on that one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tReynolds teased a possible\u00a0Avengers: Doomsday\u00a0intervention last month when he shared a post on social media with a graffiti-ed Avengers logo. Many took this image as a tease that Deadpool would make a cameo in the new MCU film.<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, Deadline further reported<\/a> that the Merc with a Mouth had not been seen on the London set and wasn\u2019t set to appear in the film either.<\/p>\n

\n\tAvengers: Doomsday is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026. Anthony Russo and Joe Russo are directing the film with a script written by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Deadpool character is closely associated with the X-Men, which Avengers: Doomsday will heavily focus on bringing back.
