Liam Neeson’s action sequel Ice Road: Vengeance is now trending in the UK despite receiving negative reviews from audiences. <\/p>\n

A follow-up to 2021’s The Ice Road, the 2025 film sees Neeson reprise his role as truck driver Mike McCann as he travels to Nepal to scatter his brother’s ashes on Mount Everest.<\/p>\n

The synopsis reads: “On the road to Mt. Everest, big rig driver Mike McCann takes on ruthless mercenaries to protect a busload of tourists and save a village on the brink of destruction.”<\/p>\n

On IMDb, one viewer<\/a> called the film “a stinker”, saying it had “one-dimensional villains, stereotypical supporting characters and poorly directed drama” that rendered the story “utterly inauthentic”. <\/p>\n

They continued: “And the absolute second-rate CGI effects and tedious action sequences don’t help the suspension of disbelief much either. A stinker.”<\/p>\n

Another viewer<\/a> penned: “In an overall general way, Ice Road Part 2 is entertaining, but it’s also a ridiculous [film], with an awful script, horrible acting and at times so bad it was funny.” <\/p>\n
