Earlier this month, Samsung officially confirmed the start of the stable One UI 8<\/a>, starting with the Galaxy S25 series. The update has already shipped on Samsung\u2019s latest Galaxy devices, like the Galaxy Z Fold 7<\/a>, S25 FE<\/a> and the brand new Galaxy Tab S11 series<\/a>. But now, thanks to a leaked release schedule<\/a>, we\u2019ve a good idea of when you should expect this big update on your Galaxy S25.<\/p>\n

When will your Galaxy S25 get One UI 8?<\/p>\n

First spotted by Alfat\u00fcrk over on X<\/a>, and then independently verified by us at\u00a0SammyGuru, we have a good idea as to when your device will get the anticipated update. Enough chatter, save these dates to your calendar:<\/p>\n

Galaxy S25 Ultra \u2013 September 18th
\nGalaxy S25 Edge\u00a0\u2013 September 25th
\nGalaxy S25+ \u2013 September 18th
\nGalaxy S25 \u2013 September 18th<\/p>\n

You might have noticed a pattern there. While the three core Galaxy S25 series devices, the base, plus and ultra, get the update on the same day, the newer S25 Edge has to wait a week longer. The Galaxy S25 Edge also didn\u2019t get a One UI 8 beta program, unlike its three older siblings. But it\u2019s also a much lower priority compared to the other three, being replaced very shortly by the S26 Edge<\/a>. It\u2019s still not fair to those who bought this device.<\/p>\n

It is also worth noting that these leaked dates are for the Turkey region.
