In a new turn of events, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed that the Hasselblad partnership has come to an end and OnePlus is building its own imaging engine.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/1757147288_874_gsmarena_001.jpg\" alt=\"OnePlus and Hasselblad are ending their 5-year partnership \"\/><\/p>\n<p>OnePlus DetailMax Engine will usher in a \u201cnew era of computational imaging\u201d for OnePlus devices. It&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/oneplus_15_now_rumored_to_debut_selfdeveloped_oneplus_image_engine-news-69294.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">expected<\/a> to debut on the OnePlus 15, and Lau shared that OnePlus has developed advanced algorithms and claims the new imaging system will deliver \u201cimages with unmatched depth and realism\u201d.
