William Osula\u2019s future at Newcastle remains in doubt, with new arrivals Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa now expected to step up and keep the Magpies competitive following Alexander Isak\u2019s departure.<\/p>\n

Newcastle United<\/a> could still part ways with centre-forward William Osula<\/a>, whose future at St James’ Park has been cast into doubt following the arrival of new strikers and a botched transfer attempt on deadline day.<\/p>\n

The Danish striker, signed for \u00a310m in August 2024, came close to sealing a switch to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt<\/a> in the final hours of the window, only for talks between the two clubs to break down.<\/p>\n

Frankfurt initially pushed for a permanent deal but later returned with a \u00a321.6m loan-to-buy offer, yet failed to reach an agreement with the Magpies before the deadline passed.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0Football Insider’s Pete O\u2019Rourke<\/a>, Osula\u2019s situation will continue to be monitored, with the 22-year-old potentially leaving in January should his playing time diminish following the summer arrivals.<\/p>\n

\u201cClubs will be monitoring [Osula] to see how many games he\u2019s played between now and January, and then see if there\u2019s any possibility that he could be lured away from St James\u2019 Park,\u201d O\u2019Rourke said on Football Insider\u2019s Inside Track podcast.<\/p>\n
