Apple is set to unveil the new iPhone 17 in the coming days, but ahead of this grand reveal, shoppers are bagging a significant discount on an earlier model. The latest bargain sees prices slashed by nearly half as the refurbished iPhone 13 drops from \u00a3480 down to \u00a3249 at Wowcher.<\/a><\/p>\n

This model offers 128GB of storage and comes in a variety of colours, including starlight, black, red, green and pink, each available with a whopping 48% discount. <\/a>This deal coincides with Apple’s live stream event scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, where the iPhone 17 range is expected to be unveiled.<\/p>\n

However, like any new Apple release, the upcoming model will likely come with a hefty price tag. Previous models, such as the iPhone 16, have debuted at \u00a3799, making Wowcher’s iPhone 13 deal<\/a> all the more appealing.<\/p>\n

The iPhone 13 was launched in 2021 and will continue to be compatible with the latest iOS updates until 2027. It’s worth noting that the Wowcher deal is for a refurbished device in “acceptable” condition, <\/a>meaning it may show some signs of cosmetic wear.<\/p>\n

Shoppers can upgrade to better conditions, including “good” and “very good”, starting from \u00a3300, which still undercuts Currys’ <\/a>own refurbished model in “good” condition priced at \u00a3349. Regardless of the condition, Wowcher assures the device offers full functionality and has been refurbished with “Apple-compatible” parts, reports the Express<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Other refurbished models include the iPhone 12 for \u00a3165 <\/a>and the Samsung Galaxy S21 for \u00a3175 <\/a>for customers who prefer Android devices. Those who would rather choose a brand-new handset without breaking the bank can get the iPhone 16e for \u00a318<\/a> when spreading the cost through Sky Mobile – its lowest price yet.<\/p>\n

However, those considering Wowcher’s iPhone 13 deal <\/a>should bear a few things in mind. Buyers must pay an \u00a38.99 delivery fee with their purchase, and the packaging and accessories that come with the device may be generic rather than genuine Apple products.<\/p>\n

The iPhone 13 operates on Apple’s A15 Bionic chip, boasting a Super Retina XDR display and “advanced” dual-camera system that can capture photos and record videos with Night Mode, Cinematic Mode, and other features. It also provides up to 19 hours of video playback on a single charge and carries an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.<\/p>\n

On Amazon – where a brand-new iPhone 13 retails for \u00a3425<\/a> – purchasers have awarded the device a 4.6-star rating. One enthusiastic review states: “I must say I am amazed. Premium quality and feeling, great camera performance, now I understand why people pay a lot for an iPhone.”<\/p>\n

One user praised the device, saying: “Upgraded my iPhone SE 2020 for this. It’s so powerful – great longer battery life and so much faster. By no means cheap, but it feels much more robust in the hand, has twice the storage capacity at 128GB, and looks amazing. I’m not too fussed about the apparently great camera but I guess that will be nice too.”<\/p>\n

However, not all users are impressed, with one stating: “I find the feel of the phone uncomfortable to use compared to earlier models. The edges and side buttons are sharp rather than smooth and rounded as previous makes such as the iPhone 6 Plus were. The old home button was more comfortable to use rather than continually swiping up and catching the edge of the phone.”<\/p>\n

In contrast, another five-star review reads: “Easy to use, battery life lasts a long time – approximately a day – and fast at running games.
