Carl Froch<\/a> has long teased a comeback to the boxing ring.<\/p>\n

\u2018The Cobra\u2019 has now been retired for more than 11 years. His last outing was his most famous \u2013 a clinical once-punch knockout of George Groves at Wembley Stadium back in 2014 to retain his super-middleweight world title and put an end to what had been a fierce rivalry after a controversial win in their first fight.<\/p>\n

Since then, Froch has remained a vocal commentator and pundit, often getting into online beef with the likes of Anthony Joshua<\/a>, Jake Paul and John Fury.<\/p>\n

His latest rivalry has been with Liverpudlian Darren Till, a former UFC fighter turned boxer. In his last fight, Till stopped Luke Rockhold to go 3-0 with two KO wins.<\/p>\n

Speaking to iFL TV,<\/a> Till outlined the chances of a fight with Froch happening and what he is being told by his team, with many already backing Froch to win. <\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been told that the powers that be believe it\u2019s going to happen so I only have to go off what they say and hopefully they\u2019re not lying to me about it. This can genuinely happen, I wanna make it happen, I will campaign and do my bits. But there has to be a bit of back and forth and Carl\u2019s got to get in the mix with this but he\u2019s not at the moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve heard DAZN really want to make this so let\u2019s give it more legs and give it a date. If I had to break it down in my own head percentage-wise I\u2019d say 50% it\u2019s got a possibility. It\u2019s more on Carl, and the powers that be, I\u2019m ready to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unlikely match-ups like this have become more and more commonplace in recent times, whether that be Jake Paul taking on Mike Tyson, Joey Essex making his ring debut recently<\/a> or Manny Pacquiao returning to the sport aged 46 back in July.<\/p>\n
