After Round 25 of Super League, plenty of players will be anxiously awaiting the disciplinary verdict from the Match Review Panel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That panel will meet later today before handing down their ruling and based on how the weekend\u2019s Super League games went, it could be quite a long and busy meeting.<\/p>\n

The action started on Thursday with two games played as Salford Red Devils and Catalans faced off, whilst Huddersfield hosted Leeds Rhinos in the other game.<\/p>\n

Brad Arthur\u2019s side kept a second successive clean sheet as they won 26-0 whilst Salford lost 17-16 when seeking their second successive win.<\/p>\n

Friday\u2019s games saw Castleford upset Wakefield 26-22 as St Helens faltered and lost 18-4 against rivals Wigan Warriors. Leigh then capitalised as they moved three points clear with their 34-12 win over Warrington Wolves<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n

However, it was Sunday\u2019s game where there was the most disciplinary contention as Hull KR won 18-4<\/a> to inch closer to the Super League Leaders Shield.<\/p>\n

Who will be sweating the Super League disciplinary verdict?<\/p>\n

That game between KR and FC saw three players sent to the sin bin but a number of incidents also went unpunished, including Jack Ashworth\u2019s apparent swinging arm to the face of Mikey Lewis.<\/p>\n

Commentator Jon Wells labelled it \u201cdisgusting\u201d and the post-match punditry focused on the \u2018grubby\u2019 actions of Hull FC<\/a>, with Ashworth not the only man to figuratively see red.<\/p>\n

Jordan Rapana literally saw yellow when sin binned for a late shot on Arthur Mourgue with the French full-back previously the victim of a hip drop tackle from Yusuf Aydin, who was also sin binned.<\/p>\n

Elliot Minchella was the other man to be sin binned as he caught Lewis Martin high with flush shoulder to head contact, however, the winger slipping saved him from a red. The fact the Hull KR captain has no disciplinary record could also save him from a ban.<\/p>\n

One man who will certainly be banned is Catalans\u2019 Franck Maria with the forward sent off for a shoulder to the head of Salford\u2019s Emmanuel Waine<\/a>, who was knocked out immediately.<\/p>\n

An update has confirmed Waine has been released from hospital whilst Catalans coach Joel Tomkins made it clear the club wouldn\u2019t try defend the tackle<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Warrington\u2019s loss to Leigh saw stand-in captain Luke Yates put on report whilst Jack Hughes was pinged for a late tackle on the kicker, something that has typically been penalised this year.<\/p>\n
