{"id":123443,"date":"2025-09-08T19:06:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-08T19:06:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/123443\/"},"modified":"2025-09-08T19:06:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T19:06:09","slug":"callow-end-puma-walks-over-road-like-it-was-safari-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/123443\/","title":{"rendered":"Callow End &#8216;puma&#8217; walks over road like it was &#8216;safari park&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The latest big cat sighting has been reported in Callow End, near Worcester,\u00a0when the sandy coloured puma strolled across the road in front of a driver.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The incident at the end of August was recorded in the Worcestershire Big Cat Group which logs sightings of the predators across the county.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Members regularly\u00a0share their thoughts on everything big-cat related from\u00a0images of paw prints to the carcasses that some believe are the prey of panthers or pumas.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The latest witness told group members: &#8220;Two days ago driving down a country lane round 6ish evening time i saw a puma walk across the road like I was at the safari park couldn&#8217;t believe it but 100 per cent\u00a0was a puma, sandy colour about 2 feet in height and meter long with a long tail with the black ring and black tip on it.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  He said he wished he had had a camera or a dash cam to record the encounter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;It never even looked at me, walked slowly across the road and into the hedge row.
