Round 25 of Super League is in the books and it certainly did not disappoint.<\/p>\n

There were derby wins for Wigan Warriors and Hull KR, with the latter all but wrapping up the League Leaders\u2019 Shield, while the Warriors\u00a0remain four points behind in second.<\/p>\n

Leeds Rhinos and Leigh Leopards picked up the wins they needed to keep their hopes of claiming a spot in the top two alive, while Catalans Dragons and Castleford Tigers also picked up results.<\/p>\n

Before the build up to the penultimate round of fixtures begins, we pick our team of the week from round 25.<\/p>\n

Super League team of the week<\/p>\n

Full-back: Jai Field (Wigan Warriors)<\/p>\n

Scored the try of the weekend as he powered home from 90 metres to finish for the Cherry and Whites<\/a> out of nothing. He made 263 metres in total and busted seven tackles.<\/p>\n

Wing: Keanan Brand (Leigh Leopards)<\/p>\n

A hat-trick for the winger on what was another impressive afternoon for the Leopards against Warrington Wolves.<\/p>\n

Centre: Umyla Hanley (Leigh Leopards)<\/p>\n

Outstanding against the Wolves. He grabbed himself a try, set two more up, while he notably managed 14 tackle breaks and three clean breaks to rack up 223m.<\/p>\n

Centre: Jake Wardle (Wigan Warriors)<\/p>\n

Took his try very well, carried well when he needed to and made his presence felt defensively. A top quality showing.<\/p>\n

Wing: Neil Tchamambe (Salford Red Devils)<\/p>\n

Salford may have lost against the Dragons, but Wakefield Trinity loanee Tchamambe impressed enough to grab two tries. A special mention goes to Hull KR man Tom Davies, who excelled in the Hull derby.<\/p>\n

Half-back: Gareth O\u2019Brien (Leigh Leopards)<\/p>\n

Two assists for the stand-off as he continues to thrive in the pivots alongside Lachlan Lam.<\/p>\n

Half-back: Bevan French (Wigan Warriors)<\/p>\n

Making such a difference for the Warriors now he\u2019s back in the fold. His quick thinking set Field away and he did plenty with the ball himself.<\/p>\n

Prop: Ethan Havard (Wigan Warriors)<\/p>\n

A big night for the England international coming off the bench. A total of 34 tackles and 95 metres with the ball in hand.<\/p>\n

Hooker: Jez Litten (Hull KR)<\/p>\n

Unplayable yet again as he powered Rovers to a win over their nearest and dearest rivals. A try, 28 tackles, six runs out of dummy half, seven tackle busts and a clean break. He\u2019s in red hot form.<\/p>\n

Prop: Jordan Dezaria (Catalans Dragons)<\/p>\n

A big effort from Catalans\u2019 pack saw them over the line and Dezaria\u2019s try was key to the win.<\/p>\n

Second-row: James McDonnell (Leeds Rhinos)<\/p>\n

Leeds were slightly laboured at Huddersfield, but McDonnell was sublime. He ran for 171 metres in the game, made 26 tackles and ran his blood to water.<\/p>\n

Second-row: Alex Mellor (Castleford Tigers)<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve not seen many Castleford players in these teams of the week, but they deserve a pat on the back for their win over Wakefield Trinity and Mellow was at the heart of it. He not only scored a try, but he made 115m and six tackle busts and a clean break.<\/p>\n

Loose-forward: Kallum Watkins (Leeds Rhinos)<\/p>\n

Excellent at loose-forward yet again. He might just be the pick up of the season.<\/p>\n
