But nobody from inside the Celtic Park<\/a> boardroom had the bravery to put their name to the statement, or come out and speak on matters that have frustrated and angered fans beyond boiling point. <\/p>\n Even after the 2025 summer transfer window<\/a> slammed shut, more noise is coming out, including how Daizen Maeda wasn\u2019t allowed to leave<\/a>, but Tam McManus\u2019<\/a> suggestion that supporters will hear from Celtic\u2019s<\/a> CEO on the matter was quickly shut down. <\/p>\n It needs to be noted that Peter Martin\u2019s comments came before Celtic put out a statement<\/a>, and they have proven to be correct.<\/p>\n McManus stated that, \u2018there might be somebody coming out and speaking shortly\u2019, before he was asked who, and he put Nicholson\u2019s name forward.<\/p>\n That left PLZ Soccer presenter Martin in hysterics because he made it pretty clear, \u2018nothing is changing\u2019 because it hasn\u2019t happened for 20 years. <\/p>\n McManus: \u201cQuestions are rightly going to be asked about the Celtic recruitment team.\u201d<\/p>\n Martin: \u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter. It doesn\u2019t matter now.\u201d<\/p>\n McManus: \u201cWhat do you mean, \u2018it doesn\u2019t matter?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Martin: \u201cNothing\u2019s changing. There\u2019s nobody held accountable. There\u2019s no heads rolling. \u2018Shut up. Pay for your season ticket. Get on with it. This is the strategy. We\u2019ll do what we like. And by the way, if you want an answer, you\u2019re not getting one. We\u2019re not going to speak to you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n McManus: \u201cWell, there might be somebody coming out and speaking shortly.\u201d<\/p>\n Martin: \u201cWho?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n McManus: \u201cMichael Nicholson.\u201d<\/p>\n Martin: \u201cNot a chance. No chance.\u201d<\/p>\n Alison McConnell: \u201cThat\u2019s fake news. That\u2019s what we call it.\u201d<\/p>\n Martin: \u201cThat\u2019s not happening. How many times has Michael Nicholson actually come out and said anything?\u201d<\/p>\n McManus: \u201cYou can\u2019t just sit in the background in the shadows and not say anything, especially this coming out with Daizen Maeda.\u201d<\/p>\n Martin is then in hysterics: \u201cThere\u2019s what\u2019s called telepathy there from Allison and myself. We\u2019re just looking at each other going, \u2018Tam clearly doesn\u2019t get the drill now.
