{"id":124502,"date":"2025-09-09T06:04:21","date_gmt":"2025-09-09T06:04:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/124502\/"},"modified":"2025-09-09T06:04:21","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T06:04:21","slug":"isle-of-wight-hospital-main-entrance-shut-during-works","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/124502\/","title":{"rendered":"Isle of Wight hospital main entrance shut during works"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The work is set to start today\u00a0(Saturday).\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The refurbishment will include a new canopy and improved lighting.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  To accommodate the work, the main entrance, drop-off\u00a0and parking area will face temporary closures for scaffolding installation, crane lifts\u00a0and material deliveries.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The hospital has announced that these will be closed today\u00a0and tomorrow (Sunday), including overnight, and Wednesday, September 10, from 6.30am to 9am.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  On October 15, the drop-off and parking area will be closed, while the main entrance remains open.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Full closure of both the drop-off\/parking area and main entrance is scheduled for October 16, from 6.30am to 11.30am, and October 18 and 19, including overnight.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  During the main entrance closures, visitors and staff will be re-directed to access the hospital via the Day Surgery entrance.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The hospital has advised the work schedule may be subject to last-minute changes, and any updates will be shared on the Isle of Wight NHS Trust\u2019s social media accounts.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The facelift is expected to be complete by Monday, October 20.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The work is set to start today\u00a0(Saturday).
