They were in no danger of breaching those rules.<\/p>\n \u201cThe statement is an insult to the intelligence of supporters, who are now mobilising. The backlash that Celtic will feel will be lengthy and costly.\u201d<\/p>\n It remains to be seen just how costly the backlash will be, as fans threaten to withhold their money from the club by passing on Europa League<\/a> packages and merchandise.<\/p>\n Celtic\u2019s next fixture against Kilmarnock will not be straightforward \u2013 it has been a historically challenging ground for Rodgers.<\/p>\n Sebastian Tounekti<\/a> and Kelechi Iheanacho<\/a> have both been brought to Celtic Park since the last fixture against Rangers, and could make their debuts in Ayrshire.<\/p>\n For the sake of the team\u2019s fortunes, they have to hit the ground running.
