Fans of Team USA<\/a> have been left fuming after spotting a glaring mistake with their recently released merchandise.<\/p>\n

Ahead of this year’s Ryder Cup<\/a>, Team USA have begun rolling out their official gear for the tournament – including one Ralph Lauren collaboration which has fans talking.<\/p>\n

The t-shirt in question – the ‘Ralph Lauren 2025 Ryder Cup Graphic T-Shirt in Refined Navy’ – is being sold for $65 and boasts a ‘bold golfer graphic’ on the front.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, eagle-eyed fans have claimed that the silhouette of the golfer bears a striking resemblance to Rory McIlroy<\/a> and his signature high-finish follow-through.\u00a0<\/p>\n

McIlroy is gearing up for his eight consecutive Ryder Cup with Team Europe and will be hoping to help them retain their title which they won back in 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The topic of the t-shirt – and the debated McIlroy silhouette – has reportedly been raised in the Tour locker room, with many convinced that it is the 36-year-old.<\/p>\n

Fans are convinced that the silhouette is of Team Europe star Rory McIlroy<\/p>\n

According to The Telegraph<\/a>, one insider said: ‘That’s definitely Rory, nobody swings like him.’<\/p>\n

A screenshot of the t-shirt on the Ryder Cup website quickly began circulating social media as speculation grew on Monday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ralph Lauren have teamed up with Team USA for the Ryder Cup and will be kitting out all of the players during the tournament. Action gets underway on September 26th.<\/p>\n

While Team USA may have McIlroy on their merchandise, it appears there is no love lost from the Europe star after his stunning triumph in the Irish Open.\u00a0<\/p>\n

McIlroy appeared to send an ominous warning to his American rivals after his play-off victory over Swede Joakim Lagergren on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

McIlroy said: \u2018I thought it would be a nice homecoming with a green jacket but this has exceeded my expectations. I am so happy to play the way I did and get the win. It is incredible.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018Moments like this are what you remember. I think 2025 will go down as one of the best, if not the best, of my career. But there is a lot still coming up, with Wentworth next week and then the Ryder Cup.\u2019<\/p>\n

On the subject of the Cup later this month, it must alarm the Americans that not only has Europe\u2019s leading man put distance between himself and his post-Masters blues, but he has now rediscovered his winning touch.<\/p>\n

McIlroy<\/a>\u00a0collected his fourth title of the season at the Irish Open on Sunday and with it his first since that balmy evening in Augusta five months ago.<\/p>\n

The title nearly slipped away from the 36-year-old, had it not been for an incredible\u00a027-foot putt on\u00a0the par-five 18th which sent it to a play-off.\u00a0<\/p>\n
