Team USA\u2019s Ryder Cup stars will tee it up at the 2025 Procore Championship this week as Keegan Bradley builds up to Bethpage.<\/p>\n

The Procore is the first of the FedEx Cup Fall schedule and is taking place at Silverado Country Club in Napa.<\/p>\n

Ten of Bradley\u2019s 12 Ryder Cup players<\/a> will be in action in California as they take part in a much-needed tune-up event.<\/p>\n

The Americans were criticised in 2023 when they did not play in the lead up to their heavy loss in Rome.<\/p>\n

And Bradley has looked to remedy that by having most of his stars compete for a PGA Tour win at Silverado.<\/p>\n

Procore Championship: Date and how to follow<\/p>\n

The 2025 Procore Championship, formerly called the Fortinet Championship, is taking place from Thursday, September 11 to Sunday, September 14<\/p>\n

It is being held on the North Course at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, California.<\/p>\n

The action will get up and running at 3pm UK time each day.<\/p>\n

Ten of the 12 players who will make up Team USA\u2019s Ryder Cup roster<\/a> will be in action in Napa.<\/p>\n

Xander Schauffele has decided against teeing it up in a somewhat controversial move while Bryson DeChambeau is banned from the event.<\/p>\n

Maverick McNealy, who was arguably the most unlucky man to miss out on making Bradley\u2019s team, is in the field while Bradley himself has decided against playing this week.<\/p>\n

Tom Kim, Gary Woodland, Max Homa, Sahith Theegala and Akshay Bhatia are the other big names in action.<\/p>\n

The full field, tee times and grouping<\/a> have been confirmed.<\/p>\n

Bradley has seemingly copied Europe’s tactics from 2023<\/a> when Luke Donald has his players play together for the opening two days of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth. <\/p>\n

As such, Scottie Scheffler is with J.J. Spaun and Russell Henley in Napa while Justin Thomas has been grouped with Cameron Young and Ben Griffin.<\/p>\n

Sam Burns and Patrick Cantlay are in a group with vice-captain Gary Woodland and Harris English and Collin Morikawa have also been joined by a fellow assistant skipper Webb Simpson.<\/p>\n

The latest leaderboard from Silverado Country Club<\/a> can be found here once play is up and running.<\/p>\n

This year’s tournament has a total purse of $6million with the winner set to take home $1.1m.<\/p>\n

Bradley was left annoyed by the news DeChambeau would not be allowed to link up with his USA team-mates in Napa.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, he\u2019s suspended and that\u2019s out of my control,\u201d Bradley said of the LIV Golf star.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought that the Ryder Cup sort of transcends all of this and really, the last thing on my mind is the PGA Tour-LIV stuff.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s up to the Tour and their decision to make. It\u2019s on them if they don\u2019t let us become together as a team and play.\u201d<\/p>\n

World No1 Scheffler is teeing it up and believes he will need the tune-up tournament before heading to Bethpage.<\/p>\n

He said: “I think when you look at the last Ryder Cup, I think that was maybe a bit too much time off for us. It’s one of those deals, it’s tough.<\/p>\n

“When you get to the end of the PGA Tour season, I think you’re a little bit tired.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYou look at a year like last year I had, when it came to the end of the season, I was pretty worn out. It took a lot out of me.
