Warrington Wolves have signed Liam Byrne from Wigan Warriors on an initial two-year contract, with the club having the option of a third year.<\/p>\n
The 26-year-old prop, who came through the Wigan academy and made his debut as a teenager, has played 152 games for the Warriors and helped them to win the quadruple last year.<\/p>\n
But the Ireland international will switch to the Halliwell Jones Stadium from 2026 to try to revive the Wolves’ fortunes.<\/p>\n
Warrington’s season has fallen away in recent weeks with six losses in seven games ending any hopes of a play-off spot.<\/p>\n
