New weather maps show more scorching conditions could be on the way after one of the hottest periods of the year so far. The UK<\/a>\u2019s third heatwave of the year<\/a> is coming to an end after temperatures exceeded 30C in several parts of the country and multiple records were broken over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Conditions are expected to cool now following the sweltering conditions but temperatures could return to 30C on July 28, according to the weather map<\/a> by WXChart.com. England looks set to be the hottest, with many areas expected to see temperatures in the mid-to-high 20s. But parts of Somerset<\/a>, Wiltshire and Hampshire could bake in 30C weather.<\/p>\n

Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and London<\/a> could also all hit a boiling 29C, according to the weather map.<\/p>\n

Further north, the hot weather<\/a> is expected to continue but cooler in coastal areas.<\/p>\n

Much of the Midlands \u2013 including major cities like Birmingham<\/a>, Nottingham and Leicester \u2013 will see temperatures ranging largely from 26C and 28C.<\/p>\n

Yorkshire will experience balmy conditions, with some areas experiencing up to 28C.<\/p>\n

The north-west, however, is expected to be cooler.<\/p>\n

Manchester is set to be 25C but other parts of the region won\u2019t be as warm, with temperatures mostly in the high teens to lower 20s in Merseyside, Lancashire and Cumbria.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also a similar-story for much of Northumberland and County Durham to the west.<\/p>\n

East Anglia will also see hot temperatures, although it will be cooler along the coast.<\/p>\n

Suffolk<\/a> and Cambridgeshire will see highs of 28C, while it could hit 29C in Essex<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Norfolk<\/a>, meanwhile, will see highs of 27C in some parts, according to the weather map.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a similar case in the south-west for Cornwall<\/a> and Devon<\/a>, with highs of 27C and 28C respectively and coastal areas cooler.<\/p>\n

Temperatures in parts of eastern, central and south Wales<\/a>, including Cardiff, could hit 25C, while most other areas are low 20s.<\/p>\n

In Northern Ireland<\/a>, temperatures will largely be in the high teens with some parts set to see the mercury hit 20C.<\/p>\n

Scotland was not included in the weather map.<\/p>\n

The Met Office<\/a>\u2019s long-range weather forecast for between July 28 and August 11 says: \u201cConditions are expected to remain changeable across the UK during this period. Periods of fine and dry weather will be interspersed with more unsettled intervals bringing showers or longer spells of rain, these heavy at times.<\/p>\n
