\n Jimmy\u2019s Farm and Wildlife Park, in Pannington Hall Lane, Ipswich, is home to more than 100 species, and Europe\u2019s largest polar bear reserve.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n In a message shared on social media, the owners of the park shared the sad news of one of their bears passing.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n The message read: \u201cWe are deeply saddened to announce the loss of Hope, our much-loved polar bear, who passed away following a vital dental procedure.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cThe operation was carried out by a highly experienced team of seven veterinary surgeons, two veterinary nurses and members of our animal care staff.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cDespite their best efforts, sadly, Hope did not recover.\u201d\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n The park is advocating for the endangered species and hopes to raise awareness about the loss of natural habitat.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe remain steadfast in our mission to protect and conserve wildlife, both here in Suffolk and around the world, ” the park wrote.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cHope will be remembered not only as a remarkable animal who touched countless lives but also as an ambassador for her species.\u201d\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n Jimmy\u2019s Farm is also home to Hope\u2019s companion Ewa, who was rescued from Sweden in 2023.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
