The prince spoke to the Welsh Rugby Union and Swansea City about the role of sport within communities and how they can use their platform to influence better mental health among players and fans.<\/p>\n
He asked Wales’ captain, Jac Morgan, whether sportspeople were more open now about their mental health.<\/p>\n
“There’s a lot more conversations about it and people are much more likely to talk more openly to their teammates about it and that’s what we want,” said Morgan.<\/p>\n
“I think we have to more open about it as coaches,” said Wales’ head coach, Steve Tandy. “You have to create the environment.” <\/p>\n
