With just hours to go until Canelo Alvarez<\/a> vs. Terence Crawford<\/a>, former super-middleweight world champion Carl Froch<\/a> has had a change of heart.<\/p>\n

Canelo defends his undisputed super-middleweight titles against Crawford at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas tonight<\/a>, as two of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world collide in arguably the biggest fight of the year.<\/p>\n

\u2018Bud\u2019 is stepping up two weight classes for the bout, looking to become undisputed in a third division after already achieving it at super-lightweight and welterweight, but will face a tough task against Canelo, who has never tasted defeat at super-middleweight.<\/p>\n

The two men weighed in yesterday, with Crawford looking in tremendous shape despite moving up from 154lbs to 168lbs, and it seems that has made Froch switch up his prediction ahead of the bout.<\/p>\n

While he may have initially felt that Canelo was going to be victorious in the bout<\/a>, Froch has now altered his thought process, as he told FightHype post-weigh-in<\/a> that he is now leaning towards Crawford.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a proper good fight. I\u2019m looking forward to it. The closer the fight gets to happening, the more I\u2019m favouring Terence Crawford. Points win for Crawford or a stoppage for Canelo. That\u2019s only because Crawford is out of his weight division and might struggle at the weight.\u201d<\/p>\n
