A former long-reigning world heavyweight champion has expressed an interest in facing Mike Tyson<\/a> .<\/p>\n

\u2018Iron Mike\u2019 looks set to share the ring with five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr in an exhibition bout next<\/a> after the former undisputed heavyweight champion released a posted across his social media pages earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Tyson made a shock return to the ring last November as he suffered a unanimous decision defeat to former Youtuber Jake Paul at the conclusion of their controversial eight round heavyweight bout at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.<\/p>\n

\u2018Money\u2019 Mayweather made his exit from the paid ranks back in 2017 after he got the better of MMA great Conor McGregor in their crossover clash, but the 48-year-old Michigan-native has returned to the ring on a number of occasions since then, facing the likes of Logan Paul and Aaron Chalmers in exhibition bouts.<\/p>\n

In a shock statement made by former WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder whilst speaking to Fight Hype<\/a>, \u2018The Bronze Bomber\u2019 claimed that he would like to face fellow countryman Tyson, as he sends a final message to the 59-year-old.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s get it on!\u201d<\/p>\n

Wilder made his return to the ring back in June when he stopped countryman Tyrrell Anthony Herndon in the 7th round of their non-title bout at the Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kansas.<\/p>\n
