West Ham were comfortably beaten 3-0 by fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the first game of the post Daniel Levy era, piling pressure on David Sullivan and Karren Brady.<\/p>\n

Next summer marks 10 years at the London Stadium<\/a> for West Ham<\/a> since the move from Upton Park.<\/p>\n

The Hammers won a drawn-out \u201cbattle\u201d with Tottenham Hotspur for the former Olympic Stadium.<\/p>\n

How West Ham fans<\/a> wish their club had rolled over and surrendered that particular battle as comfortably as they did their latest miserable game against Spurs in the soulless athletics bowl.<\/p>\n

Spurs defeat piles pressure on West Ham owners<\/p>\n

They\u2019re right in one regard.<\/p>\n

Except it wasn\u2019t West Ham fans who sold their soul for the move, it was the club\u2019s owners David Sullivan<\/a> and the now passed David Gold who did the deed, with reviled vice-chair Karren Brady<\/a> overseeing what she boldly stated was the \u2018most successful football stadium migration ever\u2019.<\/p>\n

A large number of Tottenham fans have painted Daniel Levy<\/a> as the worst possible person you could have heading up your football club down the years.<\/p>\n

West Ham fans would point to the fact Levy wanted to bulldoze the London Stadium as proof he knew what he was doing.<\/p>\n

Levy went away and built Tottenham one of the finest football stadiums in the world.<\/p>\n

Now he is gone, to much celebration from Spurs fans who claim he has always held them back.<\/p>\n

West Ham fans planning to protest against Sullivan and the board hope their activism will ultimately see him and Brady follow Levy\u2019s lead one way or another.<\/p>\n

A protest is scheduled for next week\u2019s home game against Crystal Palace.<\/p>\n

Hammers fans are also rallying to boycott the Brentford game altogether.<\/p>\n

The boycott started early, though, as the London Stadium emptied faster than a Usain Bolt race at this stadium when it was being used for the only purpose for which it is fit.<\/p>\n

Graham Potter<\/a> will deservedly take plenty of flak for West Ham\u2019s defeat to Tottenham.<\/p>\n

Despite the clear failings elsewhere, Potter should and could be doing much better than six wins in 24 matches.<\/p>\n

But supporters have long since made their minds up where the blame rests.<\/p>\n

Now a top journalist has sent a brutal Sullivan and Brady message to Spurs fans after the West Ham rout.<\/p>\n

Hammers fans were lured away from their beloved Boleyn Ground on the promise it would enable the club to compete with the elite in the transfer market.<\/p>\n

The ultimate goal behind the move, West Ham\u2019s board told supporters, was to push for Champions League football.<\/p>\n

Well forget the Champions League, because West Ham United are looking increasingly likely to bring up a decade at their rented home by being in the Championship. <\/p>\n

The Hammers have shipped eight goals in their first two home games of the new season, losing to Chelsea 5-1 and Spurs 3-0.<\/p>\n

Those clubs are historically West Ham\u2019s biggest rivals outside of Millwall.<\/p>\n

You wouldn\u2019t know it watching the performances.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere in the London Stadium matched the apathetic nature of the performance on the pitch.<\/p>\n

Sullivan and Brady shambles gives ungrateful Spurs perspective<\/p>\n

You could hear a pin drop at times and it may prove to be the calm before the storm ahead of the Palace protest next weekend.<\/p>\n

An impending sense of doom has descended on east London.<\/p>\n

And the situation has been perfectly summed up by the Telegraph\u2019s Matt Law<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a scathing assessment of West Ham\u2019s defeat to Tottenham, Law has hit the nail on the head in a message to Spurs fans.<\/p>\n

His report titled: \u201cWest Ham fans are watching a poor team in a terrible stadium with a board they hate\u201d is as true as it is depressing.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Tottenham Hotspur supporters thought they had it bad under former chairman Daniel Levy, then imagine how West Ham United fans must be feeling,\u201d Law states.<\/p>\n
