His fitness journey hasn\u2019t been without obstacles; <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/alex-eubank-hospitalization-48-hr-fast-gone-wrong\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eubank was hospitalized<\/a> after his whole body went numb during a 48-hour fast.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s made a full recovery, but later confirmed that his <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/boost-testosterone-herbs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">testosterone<\/a> levels plummeted. Side effects like low sex drive, poor sleep, and sub-optimal energy led him to make a change. Let&#8217;s Crush Your Fitness Goals Together<\/p>\n<p>Expect expert-backed workouts, nutrition advice, the latest in strength sports, and a whole lot of motivation heading your way.<\/p>\n<p>            Subscribe Another Email<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s totally true that anything above a 15-degree incline starts to hit the upper pecs a lot, and 30 to 45 and even to 60 degrees are all no wrong answers for the upper pecs, especially if you take a proper arch.<\/p>\n<p>We typically arch our backs to create stability, pull our shoulder blades back to create shoulder enhancement for health and injury risk. To me, a 30-degree incline is substantially lower to feel in my pecs, maybe I\u2019ll go to 45, but 30 is A-okay,\u201d Dr. Mike Israetel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2FF3TfhxDaI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">said<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is Eubank\u2019s blueprint to back training:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pulldowns\u00a0<br \/>\nHeavy Rows\u00a0<br \/>\nOne-Arm Lat-Focused Movements\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While Dr. Israetel suggests Eubank\u2019s back training plan has merit, he believes light rows and especially pullups are too good to pass up for gains.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLight rows, so machine rows, sets of 20, cable rows, sets of 20, I think they are awesome. I would also like folks to try pullups.<\/p>\n<p>Pullups and assisted pullups have this incredible ability to stretch and centrically load your lats in a way that pulldowns don\u2019t because they have a frictional coefficient going on.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He also judged Eubank\u2019s technique efficiency during heavy barbell rows. Eubank executed solid reps but Israetel believes he\u2019d achieve greater results using less weight.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis technique here is good, but to be great, he\u2019d have to pull a plate off each side and get an even better workout, which is awesome because it\u2019s less fatigue, less injury risk, for better workouts, if you use really meticulous technique.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Dr. Israetel gave his thoughts on Eubank\u2019s decision to start testosterone replacement therapy in his early 20s.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe got a lot of criticism for getting on TRT as a 24-year-old. He said he felt not so great and his test levels were multiple times confirmed as low.<\/p>\n<p>Those two things you don\u2019t feel your best and your test levels are low are instant candidacy for TRT. So, already, there is no problem.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As for Eubank\u2019s use of 200 milligrams of TRT a week, Dr. Israetel emphasized that it\u2019s a high dose.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201c200 milligrams of replacement testosterone\u2013so your body typically produces, that\u2019s per week, your body typically produces about 75, and if you want to be Superman, it\u2019s like 125,\u201d he shared. \u201cIs it high? Yeah, 200 is really high.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Israetel critiques more than just influencers \u2014 he\u2019s also taken a microscope to eight-time Mr. Olympia champion <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/exercise-scientist-critiques-ronnie-coleman\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ronnie Coleman\u2019s intense training<\/a> methods. He praised \u201cThe King\u2019s\u201d intensity during training but said he had room to improve his technique.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Overall, Dr. Israetel was impressed with Eubank\u2019s training approach.
