YOUNG actress Molly Cartwright says she was incredibly excited after The Conjuring Last Rites broke multiple records on its opening weekend – having grossed more than \u00a3138m globally.<\/p>\n
The ten-year-old from Penistone plays the part of Shannon Smurl in the latest Conjuring film, which was released on the silver screen on Friday.<\/p>\n
The film\u2019s opening weekend grosses a huge \u00a3138m global, making it the biggest-ever overseas horror debut of all time – overtaking It Chapter 2.<\/p>\n
It is also the second biggest debut globally ever.<\/p>\n
Molly\u2019s mum, Katie, told the Chronicle: \u201cIt\u2019s broken a few records this weekend which is great.<\/p>\n
\u201cMolly has had so many amazing messages and she\u2019s very heavily featured throughout the film as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s loved it.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe reunited with lots of the crew this weekend at another Leicester Square screening which was fabulous.\u201d<\/p>\n
