I eat an omelette with steak, cheese, chives and tomato, served with bacon, avocado and fresh berries followed by raw-milk yoghurt parfait topped with strawberries, blueberries and a drizzle of honey. I finish with mould-free coffee with raw milk creamer and one scoop of vanilla creamer.<\/p>\n<p>11am Snack of macadamia nuts and jerky made with grass-fed beef.<\/p>\n<p>1pm Lunch is skirt steak with purple potatoes saut\u00e9ed with onion and capsicum, as well as fermented vegetable kimchi and spring water with a hydrogen tablet.<\/p>\n<p>4pm Full-fat Greek yoghurt with grain-free granola and honey.<br \/>7pm Dinner is lemon herb baked salmon, fermented vegetable kimchi and spring water with a hydrogen tablet.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Joanna McMillan says<\/p>\n<p>Top marks for\u2026 Getting high-quality proteins from eggs, steak, salmon and yoghurt, while fermented foods like kimchi are great for gut health and berries are rich in antioxidants.<\/p>\n<p>If you keep eating like this you\u2019ll\u2026 Be adding extras you don\u2019t need \u2013 amino acid powders on top of a protein-packed breakfast. And while roasting kills moulds, the caffeine in coffee inhibits their growth and any mycotoxins that remain are well below safe levels. The real shortfall is variety \u2013 your range of vegetables beyond kimchi, potato and capsicum is minimal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Gary Brecka is a human biologist.
