Outside back Jon Bennison will leave St Helens at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old product of the Saints academy will end his time at the club wearing the Red V after he was this week recalled from a loan spell at Widnes Vikings.<\/p>\n

Bennison has scored 27 tries and kicked 22 goals in 68 appearances for Saints, and was a regular player in the side which won a fourth consecutive Super League title<\/a>, soring tries in both the play-off semi-final and Grand Final.<\/p>\n

The versatile Bennison was also a member of the travelling squad which won the 2023 World Club Challenge<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He was recalled from his six-match stay at his hometown side Widnes, in which he scored two tries, before the Super League meeting with Leigh Leopards<\/a> on Friday, but did not make the matchday squad.<\/p>\n

Saints head coach Paul Wellens told the club website:, external<\/a> “Jon’s impact on the team has been nothing but positive ever since he walked through the door.<\/p>\n
