Ashlyn Krueger likes this part of the season, having claimed her only WTA Tour title in Osaka two years ago. The conditions tend to be quite fast and suit her power-oriented game. While she hasn\u2019t exploded like some thought she might, the American remains a player that feels like she\u2019s constantly on the cusp of a big breakthrough. Considering she ended the US Open fitter than Eva Lys (who retired in the second round), she looks like the favorite here. Well, at least she\u2019s got the stronger upside of the two on her day.
