Scientists are stating that the interstellar object known as 31\/ATLAS has now turned green which looks like something has \u201cswitched on.\u201d<\/p>\n
Scientists from the European Southern Observatory\u2019s Very Large Telescope in Chile said the object has a rise in Cyanide and Nickel outgassing, according to a new report.<\/p>\n
Over the weeks the mysterious object which has been called an \u201calien spaceship\u201d by one scientist has turned from red to green which is \u201csuper linear\u201d which has a rate limit not known by \u201cthe availability of photons, nor a linear response to temperature increase,\u201d the report states.<\/p>\n
Scientists are saying that the quick increase could \u201cinstead likely be temperature-activated and\/or threshold process that is being switched on.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat they mean is that there is a process with some minimum temperature in order for it to get activated,\u201d Harvard astrophysicist and 3I\/ATLAS tracker Avi Loeb told The New York Post.<\/p>\n
\u201cImagine that you want to buy a ticket to see a show. As long as you have a small amount of money in your pocket, you will not get in, but once you have more than some minimum, you will be able to see the show.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe more money you have the better your seating might be, but getting into the theater requires you to cross a minimum payment. This is the threshold effect they are referring to.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dr Loeb wrote on Tuesday, \u201cThe ATLAS team interprets this anomalous evolution as a shift from scattering of sunlight by dust lifted from a reddened surface to the production of small, politically bright icy grains, which changed the opacity of the plume of materials shed off 3I\/ATLAS.\u201d<\/p>\n
Earlier this month an astrophysicist has spoken out saying that the interstellar object<\/a> travelling at 130,000mph \u201ccould be alien,\u201d which comes after the theoretical physicist Dr Avi Loeb said he believes it could be an \u201calien spaceship.\u201d<\/p>\n Neil deGrasse Tyson said the object known as 31\/Atlas \u201ccould be\u201d aliens, adding,\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s not my first thought. I promise you it will be my last thought, but it\u2019s in the list.\u201d<\/p>\n Professor Loeb said he believes it is an alien craft of some sort to make contact with earth.<\/p>\n The Harvard expert said: \u201cAn encounter with an interstellar alien technology is a blind date of astronomical proportions. You don\u2019t know what you will meet because our imagination is limited to our experience on Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n He suggested a message could be sent to the spaceship using radio wave to say \u201cHello, welcome to our neighbourhood. Peace!\u201d but said this could pose as a threat.<\/p>\n Loeb has sent alarm bells ringing as earlier this month he said the interstellar object<\/a> travelling though the solar system could possibly by an \u201calien spaceship.\u201d<\/p>\n
