This approach, which Giffgaff says addresses feedback from its trial members, aims to provide greater flexibility than the typical 18- to 24-month contracts offered by competitors.<\/p>\n<p>The plans start at \u00a334 for 200Mbps, rising to \u00a336 for 500Mbps and \u00a339 for 900Mbps, with no setup or installation fees.<\/p>\n<p>While the new service emphasizes flexibility and simplicity, consumer experts have noted the stark difference in pricing compared to the trial. Ernest Doku, a broadband expert at Uswitch, commented: \u201cConsumers may have been hoping to see lower launch prices from giffgaff\u2019s offering. The new plans\u2026are significantly higher than the trial price of \u00a310.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that while Giffgaff\u2019s monthly rolling contracts are a key differentiator, cheaper deals are available from other providers for those willing to commit to longer contracts. For example, Hyperoptic and Community Fibre offer 900Mbps speeds for less than half the price of Giffgaff\u2019s top-tier plan, albeit on 12- or 24-month contracts.<\/p>\n<p>Giffgaff CEO Ash Schofield said the company is \u201crewriting the rules of broadband\u201d by bringing its mobile values of simplicity and fair value to the new service.
