Boxer Terence \u201cBud\u201d Crawford has been crowned Super Middleweight champion after defeating Saul \u201cCanelo\u201d \u00c1lvarez in Las Vegas on Saturday, September 13, 2025. <\/p>\n

In front of a sold-out crowd at the at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Terence \u201cBud\u201d Crawford cemented his name in the annals of the sport\u2019s immortality on Saturday night, outboxing and dethroning Saul \u201cCanelo\u201d \u00c1lvarez. <\/p>\n

Crawford showcased his trademark speed even after going up in weight, and with precision, and defensive mastery went on to outbox Alvarez over 12 electric rounds. <\/p>\n

The judges scored the bout unanimously in Crawford\u2019s favor: 115-113, 115-113, 116-112. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis is what greatness looks like. Canelo is a legend, but tonight was my night. I came to make history,\u201d Terence Crawford said in the post-fight interview. <\/p>\n

The 37-year-old from Omaha, Nebraska, entered the bout as a +250 underdog but his solid performance and determination ensured that he emerged the winner. <\/p>\n
