With suggestions that Verstappen<\/a> may even give F1 up after 2028, when his contract expires, there is speculation over what he may do next and he was recently at the N\u00fcrburgring in a GT3 car, hinting at what he may see as his future.<\/p>\n But\u00a0Luyendyk wants to see him in IndyCar instead.<\/p>\n \u201cI would love to see him in an IndyCar,\u201d\u00a0Luyendyk told RACER<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, he\u2019s an amazing talent. And on top of that, he\u2019s a nice guy. To me, he is.\u201d<\/p>\n Luyendyk\u2019s request during a comment about Verstappen\u2019s ability to multitask and the 71-year-old pointed out what he saw as the difference between how he and Lando Norris spoke over the radio.<\/p>\n \u201cI was watching the Brazilian race on Netflix, and there\u2019s the radio communication. And then you hear Lando on the radio, and then you hear Max, and it\u2019s like you\u2019re listening to a 12-year-old Lando and you\u2019re listening to a 30-year-old veteran Max,\u201d Luyendyk said.<\/p>\n \u201cSo calm, so calculated. Like, \u2018Yeah, I can last another five minutes in this weather,\u2019 you know, and Lando was saying, \u2018Oh, we\u2019re all going to die,\u2019 or something like that.\u201d<\/p>\n He added, \u201cHe can do so much at the same time. He\u2019s a multitasking kind of guy. And I think it stems from all the racing he did as a kid in go-karting.
