The dust is beginning to settle following Terence Crawford<\/a>\u2018s sensational victory over Canelo Alvarez<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Crawford upset the odds as he defeated Canelo at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, winning the fight by unanimous decision after the judges scored the bout 115-113, 115-113 and 116-112 in his favour.<\/a><\/p>\n

The triumph saw \u2018Bud\u2019 become the undisputed super-middleweight champion, making him the first male fighter in history to achieve that in three separate weight divisions.<\/p>\n

It was the third defeat of Canelo\u2019s career, going alongside a loss to Dmitry Bivol in May 2022, and a loss to Floyd Mayweather back in September 2013.<\/p>\n

Following the fight, Canelo was asked in the post-fight press conference who he deemed to be the best between Crawford and Mayweather after facing both men, and he responded by stating that Crawford was \u2018way better.\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2018Bud\u2019 has now responded, after he had his say on those comments whilst speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201c[Canelo] was in the ring with both of us. People can say what they want, but he\u2019s actually been in the ring with both of us. One he felt like he was at the best and another where he felt like he was at a disadvantage with a rehydration clause when he was younger. I don\u2019t go off of that. Floyd is the best fighter in his era and I feel like I\u2019m the best fighter in my era.\u201d<\/p>\n
