Trainer David McColm is hoping to target the glamour Magic Millions Carnival over the summer with stable star Far Too Easy and heir apparent Pareto.<\/p>\n
Far Too Easy, the reigning Kosciuszko champion in Sydney, is back in work following an extended two-month break while Pareto will line up in the Benchmark 75 Handicap over 1200 metres at Doomben on Saturday.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe decided to give Far Too Easy a longer break and he\u2019s just come back into work,\u201d McColm said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe going to take him along slowly and target the Magic Millions but we\u2019ll see how he\u2019s going closer to the time.<\/p>\n
Far Too Easy hasn\u2019t raced since tailing off last in the Listed Glasshouse Handicap at the Sunshine Coast in July.<\/p>\n
McColm was formerly base at Murwillumbah but has been based at the Gold Coast for three months which made Far Too Easy ineligible to defend his Kosciuszko crown.<\/p>\n
The trainer also has a big opinion of Pareto who like Far Too Easy dislikes hard tracks.<\/p>\n
Pareto was a $150,000 yearling buy at the Magic Millions sales at the Gold Coast but is not QTIS eligible.<\/p>\n
