Staffordshire\u2019s libraries have revealed their top book picks for the season, and Stone residents can borrow all of them for free. Whether you\u2019re a fan of page-turning thrillers, epic romances, inspiring biographies or magical fantasy adventures, there\u2019s something waiting for you on the shelves, or online.<\/p>\n

Top titles to borrow this summer<\/p>\n

Among the most borrowed books in the county over the past year were the hugely popular\u00a0Thursday Murder Club\u00a0series by Richard Osman. All four books in the series are still flying off the shelves. Other standout thrillers include Harlan Coben\u2019s new release,\u00a0Nobody\u2019s Fool,\u00a0and the modern classic\u00a0Gone Girl\u00a0by Gillian Flynn.<\/p>\n

For those after real-life stories, look out for Al Pacino\u2019s new memoir,\u00a0Sonny Boy, or\u00a0Hope: An Autobiography\u00a0by the late Pope Francis. Both are available in physical format and as e-books.<\/p>\n

Romance readers can dive into Jojo Moyes\u2019 latest,\u00a0We All Live Here, or lose themselves in the fantasy-romance worlds created by Sarah J Maas and Sue Lynn Tan.<\/p>\n

Children\u2019s books for all ages<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re hoping to keep the kids entertained during the summer holidays, Stone Library has plenty for them too<\/a>. From toddlers to teens, the shelves are stocked with everything from Julia Donaldson and David Walliams to Charles Dickens and Jeff Kinney\u2019s\u00a0Diary of a Wimpy Kid\u00a0series.<\/p>\n
